The Melbourne crew were back down beach road for Race 4 of the 2XU series on Sunday. We had a mix of athletes racing across the sprint and the Olympic distance events. For some the progressions that come from consistently and patiently training over many months continue to shine through. For others it was another step towards bigger and better things to come… including many racing Geelong 70.3 in a couple of weeks time.
Well done to those that raced, these events are a great opportunity to simply learn ‘how to race’, make mistakes, test personal limits, experiment, practice and simply have fun swim-bike-running. Lots more racing to come over the coming weeks!
Not to be out done by the crew in Vic, Dean Host, had a great race at his local foreshore tri crossing the line in a PB time of 1.13. Nice work Dean!
