The inaugural Tasmania 70.3 was on last weekend and by all accounts it was a success… The rumours were true – a tough course, mostly due to the bike course, and a great location to host some swim-bike-run!

Speaking of “Hosts” Luke lead the way for the #JETpack with a brilliant, well rounded performance to stop the clock in 4:33 which landed him on his first long course podium! Dave Clarke, too, had a solid day out across the board to finish in 5:12 in his first race since becoming a Dad mid 2022. The local hero Katrina managed a (very) full family schedule in the lead up and some race day adversity (flat tyre) for a very commendable race, whilst Dave and Scott perserved through a long, hard day for each of them to get the job done.

Results below – well done guys!

Luke Host – 4.33, 3rd Place AG
David Clarke – 5:12
Katrina Carr – 6:50 (inc flat tyre)
David Britt – 7:19, 6th Place AG
Scott Latham – 8:13
