PREGNANCY & PERFORMANCE
Performance doesn’t always mean racing faster.
Sometimes, performance means continuing to move your body, staying healthy, and embracing a completely new season of life.
That was Brooke’s approach throughout her pregnancy.
She was able to continue racing through the first half of her pregnancy, completing both a sprint triathlon and a half marathon before transitioning into training purely for enjoyment and wellbeing.
The goals changed – but they were no less important.
– Keep doing what she loves.
– Maintain routine and structure.
– Protect a big part of her identity as an athlete.
– Stay fit and healthy for pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
Sometimes training is about standing on a podium.
Sometimes it’s about giving yourself the best possible foundation for what’s ahead.
Exercise during pregnancy isn’t about proving anything—it’s about supporting your health, adapting as your body changes, and recognising that success looks different for everyone.
Congratulations to Brooke and Connor on the arrival of their little one
