So, get started. Here are some simple, practical tips to help you out…

For training sessions:
– commit to an alarm
– stand up – get out of bed
– get dressed and get out of the door
– start your warm up

It also helps to be organised – have your bag and food prepared and packed. Remove potential excuses. Commit to a group session or training partner for added accountability.

For races or training campaigns:
– Why? Understand why you are starting – make it meaningful to YOU
– ENTER the race / event – commit
– Engage in the process. Engage your Coach. Engage your training partners. Engage your friends and family.
