All goals should be smart: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time Based
They should have meaning and value for you so that regardless of whether you perform well or perform poorly you keep striving forward. Poor performances provide great opportunities for learning and development. Provided the goals have meaning to you a poor performance should spark the fire, not put it out.
Accept, learn, make some measurable changes to approach and keep moving forward.
