The race of the season did not disappoint! Despite a few late casualties and some noticeable absentees our fifth handicap and third post season handicap hosted by WSTC was a great success. The conditions were perfect, once again for the final race of the season over the short and sweet (super) sprint course along the Altona Esplanade.
JET athletes represented over one third of the field and they represented it well! Lots of fun and little bit of pain was the flavour of the morning but ultimately it was the rookiest Robson, Daniel, that took the glory and won the handicap convincingly. The handicapper was certainly a little too generous with his handicap and should have known better; never underestimate a Robson. Either that or his new JET kit made him fly.
Daniel joins a prestigious list of handicap winners:

As always a special mention to this who got involved in other ways. This time around Taylor smashed out a solo swim, Luke dominated a 20km TT, Ryan Doyle ran a 5km TT and Brett Jacobson challenged himself to a DIY sprint! We love this stuff.
Until next time…
