Monster hashtag. Monster weekend.

Our latest JET challenge was the best executed challenge yet.

JET Coaching’s assistant head coach and CEO in waiting, Oakley Edwards, turned ONE on the 17th May… as such, our challenge was in honour of this milestone. It took place on the weekend of the 16th and 17th May

The JET Pack were challenged to include “17” into their training for the weekend. As always, points were awarded for creativity!

Ideas included one or a combination of:

– 1.7km swim, 1.7mile swim, 17min swim, 17 x 1min swim bands, 170m reps
– 170km bike, 17km TT, 1700m of elevation on a ride, 170min trainer session, 17 reps of xx
– 17km run, 17mile run, 17 hill reps, 17 x 1km reps, 1.7mile reps

What unfolded over the weekend was inspiring, a lot of fun and many a reference to ONE SEVEN! What follows are the results of sorts… and some special mentions.
