The majority of your training can and should be done at a sustainable intensity.
This is true if you’re training for a PB or world champs qualification, or, for your health and fitness.
There is great benefit in doing so including:
improved cardiovascular health
increased mitochondrial efficiency
reduced injury risk
higher training quality
greater capacity to get more from your other sessions
lowered blood lactate levels at any given effort
