Remember, you want to arrive at the start line fit, excited and FRESH… There is no point in being fit but fatigued (mentally or physically)
Set yourself up for success but being smart and pragmatic in your final approach to race day.
Generally less is best, freshen up, relax and look forward (positive) to race day. Look back at some of the work you HAVE done rather than focussing on the sessions that were missed because ‘life happened’…
You aren’t going to gain any fitness in the final 7-10 days… it’s about arriving to the start line with your axe sharpened and raring to go.
Think about doing what you can do to ensure your are healthy, happy and ready to give it YOUR best… whatever that may be.
