Race week tips 🏁
– Eat well throughout the week, don’t change too much from what you normally do 🥗
– Stay hydrated throughout the week – try not to over drink in the final 24hrs 🍹
– Bank some sleep early in the week, then there’s less pressure to get the hours in in the couple of days prior when nerves are high 🛏
– Focus on yourself and what you can control, no one else ☝️
– Get organised early in the week – equipment checks, packing, food and drink etc ✅
– Training volume is likely reduced, focus on mobility and body management 💪
– Resist the urge to cram in extra training – you’ll get best results from your fitness if you’re fresh 🌞
– Be process driven, the outcome will be what it will be… 🤷♂️
– Be your best! Do the best with what you have on the day and stay positive, that’s all you can ask of yourself 😃
