Let’s talk about toughness… it’s one thing to be ‘tough’ when you’re feeling good and another altogether when you’re not feeling good!
We believe being tough comes easier to some than others but in any case it is trainable. Toughness can be practiced every session, day & week
Sometimes our equipment won’t work, we may have limited time, we will have inadequate sleep or we may be unmotivated. Other times sessions may be affected by weather – it may be cold, wet, windy, or, it may be hot and humid.
All of these situations are simple examples of how we can practice toughness… simply ‘getting it done’ – sometimes it’ll require problem solving and others will require ‘adapting and over coming’
Every time we face small adversities we get ‘tougher’ and more resilient… every time we fold or opt out we feed that type of response.
Every little bit counts – there are opportunities to practice being tough each and every session/day/week.
How tough are you?
