Recovery is when we absorb the training load. Recovery is where we get fitter, stronger, faster.

Fitness + freshness = best performance. Training harder, and training more will mean nothing without adequate rest, recovery and adaptation!

My top 3 recovery tips:

1. You cannot replace good quality sleep – prioritise your sleep at night

2. Good nutrition / hydration – timing, quality, quantitiy – eat and drink appropriately for your needs!

3. Mobility and body management – a mobile and relaxed body is more efficient and and less injury prone. Massage, Yoga etc are great but even some foam rolling and activation as part of warm up and cool down will help… Look after your body!
