It was a big week/end for endurance sport and the JET Community played its part…

Earlier in the week Dan Bennett tackled the 8.5km trail run and the 5km road race at the Emergency Services games. He went 37.41 and 20.15 respectively and that was good enough to be at the pointy end collect a couple of medals… very close to PB in the 5km despite some big hills πŸ’ͺ

Over to Kona and we have another two Ironman World Championship finishers. Shay went 10.11 is a solid and consistent all round performance and Paul showed some grit to finish the job with an 11.24. A great experience and two happy men enjoying the rest of their time over there. Congrats fellas πŸ‘

Closer to home we had several running the Melbourne marathon festival. Some PBS, some good training days mixed with some hard luck stories… long term view is for smarter, healthier more robust athletes (All times are official times – likely a little β€˜long’) πŸ‘‰
