This goes for athletic development and in life in general.

It is easy to focus on the negative and everything that we can’t do that we thought we may have been able to… Travel, Racing… even, going for a swim.

But, you can flip that and focus on what you CAN do. Both in life or in sport.

Examples:

– build towards something you never thought you would do… you have got time and you can make your own ‘event’
– do a project – work on improving in one particular area
– focus on strength, mobility and general robustness – you can never be too strong!

And in life:

– learn something new… an instrument, a language
– read a book, play some board games
– do those things you ‘never have time for’
